Peace Island Institute Art and Essay ContestPeace Islands Institute (PII) announces its 5th Annual Art and Essay Contest for the middle and high school students in the State of New Jersey. Princeton GirlchoirFounded in 1989 as an after-school activity for girls interested in choral music, Princeton Girlchoir has grown into the area’s premier training and performance choir for girls, with over 290 choristers participating each year. The organization is comprised of seven choirs made up of girls from 3rd through 12th grade, drawing singers together from over 75 schools in Central New Jersey and Bucks County. These choirs present music from a wide array of genres, conductors and composers. Project CitizenEvery year, state coordinators of the Project Citizen program designate exemplary portfolios from their state to send to the annual Project Citizen National Showcase, where evaluators determine the level of achievement attained by each portfolio.The 2023 Project Citizen National Showcase will be held on July 25.
