2024 HMS Fall Athletic Information

Pending the results of the July 15th, 2024 HTPS Board Meeting, the district will know if we are officially proceeding with middle school athletics for the 2024-2025 school year.  If the budget is approved, athletics will open up registration on Tuesday, July 16th for all fall sports, which include: cross country, boys soccer, girls soccer, and field hockey.

**Please understand that registration is not live at this point. If approved, registration will now be on the Genesis Parent Portal. Below are due dates for sports physicals.

All prospective athletes must have a current sports physical on file in the health office.  Physical examinations are good for 365 days prior to the date of the first practice.  If the physical has been completed more than 90 days prior to the first practice, the 90 day update form (Health History Update Questionnaire) must be completed.  It is possible that both forms will be necessary depending on the date of the physical and the date of the first practice.

Please note:  Sports physical forms are not cleared on the same day that you drop them off at the Health Office.  Sports physical forms get reviewed & cleared by our school physician.  A parent/guardian will receive a sports clearance email notification once approved by our school physician.
