About  AANJ...

The Art Administrators of New Jersey is an organization of art educators

that has the responsibility of managing school art programs in many districts throughout the state.  Its members represent both large and small districts from a variety of geographical settings. The AANJ is actively involved in many state and national programs designed to:

foster better art education in our schools,

provide recognition for outstanding artistic achievement, and

develop understanding, appreciation and support for art education.

This annual art exhibit was initiated in 1988 to recognize the outstanding achievements of New Jersey's talented and dedicated high school students in the area of Visual Arts,

and to heighten public awareness of art education programs in this state.
