The Life Skills Committee works with students, teachers, administrators and parents to implement prevention-based educational programs.  Students are encouraged to develop good coping skills, strong friendships, positive attitudes and healthy lifestyles. In addition, they develop the necessary skills for a healthy mind and body, along with the tools to acquire decision-making and problem solving skills.  Through the use of various activities such as role play, peer-to-peer leadership, assembly programs, multimedia interaction, and community-wide activities, the program educates the students and parents of the Hillsborough Community.

Sometimes you need to discuss a difficult topic with your child or teen, or maybe you're a youth yourself going through a new situation.  We have a list of resources to refer to, both digitally and locally. Our local resources include New Jersey based centers and programs near Hillsborough. These resources can be used by parents, children and educators alike, as all cater to a different scope.
