Hillsborough Township Public Schools

Dear Parents and Guardians, According to the National Weather Service, communicated through the Somerset County Emergency Operations Center, the weather forecast for Hillsborough calls for two to five inches of snow throughout the day and evening on January 19, 2024. The District continues to monitor the weather with multiple partners, including our local Office of Emergency Management, the Hillsborough Police department, the Department of Public Works, weather service providers, and members of Township leadership. It is too early to offer further clarity regarding the impacts that the weather may have on Hillsborough. However, I want to reinforce the importance of families having a plan if an Early Dismissal becomes necessary to facilitate a seamless dismissal process for students and staff members. Additionally, for parents of HHS students who drive, you might consider an alternative plan for your novice driver in advance. Thank you for your attention to the above.

There is a public meeting of the Board of Education tonight from 5:30 - 8:30 in the Auten Road School Media Center. Board Members will be participating in a Strategic Planning session facilitated by HYA Associates. No action will be taken.
